Many times, a therapist will not initiate new behavior, but will only reflect back to the client any awareness that has been achieved by the client.

In coaching, a coach will create awareness around any current problematic behaviors or self-imposed obstacles, so the client can work to remedy these habits. Coaches create measurable milestones, timelines, and long and short-term goals that can be managed and attained. Goals can include enhanced communication, career advancement, weight-loss, meditation, financial stability, physical fitness, sobriety, work/life balance, independence, ending co-dependency, plus many, many more actions toward a better life!
